Cards

I love cards.  I love getting them, I love sending them (except to Shannon, since her mailman steals them all), I love looking at them.  Pete knows how much I love them and usually get 2 for each holiday.  One funny, One romantic.  So you all know how excited I was to find out the fabulous creative Cady has started a card making business.  She is hosting a contest giving away five cards!  I hope it gets her lots and lots of business.  I added a little link on the right sidebar!  Check it out!

Fat Girl

My little Princess is such a chunky little thing.  She is 3 weeks old and already 2 ounces shy of 10 pounds!  She has outgrown all of her newborn clothing and little socks.  She is just the prettiest little thing.  She came over on Saturday to visit her Uncle Pete and was still there when I got home.

Princess and her Favorite Uncle

It was so nice to see her. I took over holding duties when I got home and I spent a good log time holding her.

Poor little thing has a bad case of Baby Acne. It is clearing up now, thank goodness!  She was awake for almost her whole visit, but got tired out from all the fun and needed to take a little nap!  You can see all of the Pictures from her visit HERE.

Hair Day

Today Crystal, Dakoda and I headed up to Nikki’s to practice my hair and makeup for the wedding.  We are going to do this a few times to make sure we can get it prefect the day of the wedding.

I am not going to pay someone to do my hair.  I have super curley hair that no one ever does well.  We are also going to the beach that day and I don’t want to pay lots for an updo (one I can do myself) when we are going swimming in 2 hours!

I washed my hair and used gel and blew it dry like always.  Nikki and Crystal put it up in hot rollers.  When we took it out I have big Grace (Will & Grace) type curls.  It looked so pretty!  We got it up into an updo and added my “Practice” veil.  It looked pretty good!

Here are some pictures.

Medical Worries

I haven’t posted about this stuff yet because I was too scared to actually write it all down.  In my mind if I wrote it down then it became real.  I don’t deal well with Medical problems.  I hate them I try at all cost to avoid them.  I know this stems from my Mom being sick for so long, she had so many doctor appointments and hospital stays.  It makes me shudder thinking about it all.  I also think this is the reason I am so against elective surgeries.  I just could never submit myself to something (surgery, medical procedure, etc.) that wasn’t 100% necessary to save my life.  I hate hospitals and I hate doctors.  It all reminds me of my Mom being sick and dying.  I just can not wrap myself around why people pay thousands of dollars to be put to sleep and be operated on only to go through weeks of pain and suffering for a new nose or some huge boobies!  Thankfully I do not get sick often and I am healthy!  My last bout of sickness in January was very rare.  I had not been to see my doctor (Primary…I go to the Girlie Doc every year!) before that in over 3 years.  I have perfect blood pressure and sugar and hope to keep it that way!

Anyway enough about me on to the Dads in my life:

My Dad – My Dad is the only parent my sister and I have and we try to keep him as safe and healthy as possible.  He HATES doctors, more then I do.  Well he has been having some weird problems.  His back hurts all the time (he refuses to let Pete adjust him) and recently his stomach has been getting tight and he has been feeling crappy.  Well thanks to Dr. Google I was sure he had an Aortic Aneurysm.  I made him a Doctor appointment and Laura went with him last week.  The doctor said his Blood Pressure was fine (I always worry about this since his mother died of a heart attach and high blood pressure) but he did have a small hernia.   His doctor sent him for a sonogram of his belly.  Afterwards my Dad joked that he was having twins.  LOL  Well the doctor got back with him yesterday and thankfully nothing is wrong.  No Aneurysms!  He does have a small cyst on his kidney, but the Doctor said it was nothing to worry about.  The Doctor recommends a Colonoscopy.  My Dad is sooo not wanting this.  I figure I will give him a few weeks and then just make the appointment for him.  That is the only way to get him to go forward with any medical related procedure.  So I am very thankful to report my Dad is fine!

P.Daddy – Pete’s dad isn’t in  great health.  He has had a rough couple of years here.  He had bad knees and a bad back, most likely from years of physical work, he was a union carpenter for most of his adult life.  A few years ago, right before Pete’s parents moved to Arizona his Dad was at our house and developed Bells Palsy.  His entire left side of his face went numb and kinda just hung there.  It also effected his speech and legs some.  It really effected his vision on that side.  Pete researched it and his dad started alot of natural remedies.  They helped alot and he has full mobility back.  His eye still bother him especially at night.  Back in September, I think, his Dad was sick with a chest cold that led to pneumonia.  He went to the hospital after stubbornly putting it off and they discovered that he had a heart attack and pneumonia and his blood sugar was off the charts!  This scared me to no end and I spent lots of time being scared and worrying about him (and Pete too…..He plays tough, but has no idea what it is like to lose a parent).  He started recovering and was doing fairly well by the time we went to visit in November.  Things were cooling down in AZ and he had weened off of the oxygen and was continuing to get stronger.  Last week he was feeling the beginnings of a chest cold and didn’t get to the Doctor right away.  He tried to self medicate, but only got worse until he ended up back in the Hospital.  They discovered pneumonia again and then decided he had experienced another small heart attack.  UGH!  Why?? Hasn’t he been through enough!  His Sugar was also nuts again.  He has diabetes and usually controls it with insulin.  So he is in the hospital all the way across the country and Pete’s mom now is really sick too.  His sister isn’t the most vocal and doesn’t share all of the information with us as I would like.  She also doesn’t ask all the questions I have!  It is so frustrating for both me and Pete.  More so me cause I am nosier.  Then on Wednesday we get a call that they are going to operate because he is bleeding internally and they don’t know why or where!  Well this makes me have a thousand more questions that never get answered.  Thankfully before the cut him open they realized, they being the moron doctors, that he was not bleeding internally that his blood count was screwy from blood thinners they gave him upon admitting him to the ER.  UGH!  Sooooo  P. Daddy is home, as of yesterday and is starting to feel better!  I am so relieved and I know Pete is too!

So these issues along with little Miss Alyssa are the reasons I haven’t been posting as much as usual!

Bridesmaid Dresses

Tonight Crystal and I went to look for bridemaid dresses at a little local bridal shop.  It was great.  We found 4 dresses we liked.  I have pictures of them.  The lady who owns the shop stayed late for us and was so helpful!  She even “lent” me two flower girl dresses to take to Nikki’s this weekend.  All of the dresses in her shop were very affordable.  And she is offering an extra 15% off!  How awesome!

All the dresses would be in Cotton Candy Pink!

Dress One – This one is my favorite, but Laura hates it.  I am taking her next week to look at it and if she likes it then we will probally go with this one.

Dress Two – This one is my 2nd Favorite.  I love it.  Dress one only wins cause of the sleaves.  Actually these first two are pretty 50/50.  I know this one is Crystal’s favorite and if Nikki, Shannon and Laura like it then this one will be the dress.

Dress Three – I like this dress alot.  I think it is so pretty with great lines.

HISTORY OF THE WEDDING DRESS LABEL (From the Web Site):

In the 20’s and 30’s, couture gown designers starting designing personalized labels for their clients, and attaching them inside the gowns. Now brides can use this special touch to make wedding gowns truly their own. When the tradition of labels for wedding gowns started, it was seen as the last time a bride would use her maiden name. So the bride’s full maiden name and wedding date was sewn into the gown. More recently, brides began choosing to put their name and the groom’s name on the label with the wedding date. Today, anything goes—from nicknames, monograms, or symbols—whatever the bride feels has the most meaning for her.

These labels are sewn into your wedding gowns lining at the hem, or inside the top of the gown, where a typical clothing label would go. They can be sewn in any color, but are most commonly done in blue for the traditional “Something Blue.” They can even be sewn as a pocket to hold something special, like a good luck charm, or other precious item that you want to have with you on your wedding day. After the wedding, the label becomes a memento for future generations to have the name and date from the day the dress was worn. This is a special touch for a dress that will be handed down. And if you decide not to keep the dress, the label can be removed, and kept as a memento of the gown-perhaps to be placed in your wedding scrapbook, next to a picture of the dress.

Whatever you choose to have stitched on the label, it is a wonderful way to make “The Dress” truly your own.

Random Babble

BABY BABBLE

I know I have not been posting much since Baby Princess came into my life.  How do you Moms find the time to blog.  I work all day (sneaking a few Internet minutes in here and there) then I go home and either run over to Laura’s to see Alyssa or I try to wash clothes so Pete doesn’t get upset that I spend all free time at my sisters and he has no clean underwear!  LOL  My house is falling down around me.  It is sooo a mess.  I have dirty dishes and a dirty tub and I don’t care.

Last night I went to visit the famous Brad and got a super great haircut (I just don’t see how people go to Great Clips or Hair Cuttery), then Pete and I went out to dinner (since we have no food at our house or time to cook it…See above).  I had the Fish Tacos and yum were they good.  It was my first time having Fish Tacos, but not my last!  So we get home and the wonderful, thoughtful Ani has sent Miss Aylssa a present.  So I head over to Laura’s to deliver it.  What a pretty little dress….Thank you so much Ani.  Also thank you to Shannon and Lisanne!  You guys are all so thoughtful!  Laura is in shock that people she doesn’t even know care about her and Princess so much!  I stayed at Laura;’s until after 11pm.  Aylssa was awake and I held her for like 3 hours.  I missed her so much when we were at the Ocean!

CRUISE BABBLE

OK I am so excited about our Wedding.  I think about it 20 hours a day, and it isn’t just me.  Nikki and I talk about it EVERY morning, Shannon recruits new cruisers daily,  Crystal and I have so many great plans for the kids, and I also can’t stop buying presents for the kids going.  LOL  This cruise has overtaken my life as much as Baby Alyssa!  LOL  Nikki and I were talking about the wonderfulness of the Disney Cruise just yesterday!  See they are really the best cruise line.  Nikki cruised for the first time with Disney back in 2002 when we took her Goddaughter on a Disney Land and Sea trip, and it spoiled her.  Nikki’s husband isn’t too keen on this cruise, his argument was he hated his last cruise.  For their Honeymoon they cruised on another cruise line.  They both hated it.  Nikki hated it because she kept comparing it to her Disney Cruise and it couldn’t compete!  I have Cruised other cruiselines, but unless I get the cruise for free, or really cheap I won’t do it again.  It just isn’t as good, it isn’t as organized, it isn’t as entertaining.  I am excited to be able to show Shannon the greatness that she was forced to listen to me talk about on our cruise in 2005.  I couldn’t help comparing the dinning, the entertainment even the room size!  Disney is 55% bigger then industry standard, you know.  We have a bunch of first time cruisers going with us for our Disney Wedding and now they too will all end up never wanting to cruise with another cruise line again!  LOL

Ocean City Recap

Friday

Pete and I had a great weekend!  It started when I picked him up from work on Friday.  We stopped by my Dad’s and picked up the keys then we hit the road!  We had packed the car all up in the morning so we were all set!  We just started talking and driving and planning our weekend.  We stopped in Cambridge to get Gas.  It is always atleast 5 cents cheaper then anywhere else in Maryland.  After filling up and calling to check on the Baby we were back on the road.  Gosh I missed that Sweetie when I was gone!

We pulled into Ocean City around 8:40pm.  We made good time.  It usually takes 2.5-3 hours to get there.  We went to Harborside Bar and Grill for some dinner.  Harborside is so fun!  It was packed and they had a DJ too Friday night.  Pete got some Shrimp Jammers and I got Wings as our appetizers.

WingsShrimp Jammers

For our main course we shared the Parmesan Encrusted Flounder. We each got a baked potato to go with it. It is the best tasting fish ever! EVER! I love it.

I of course had not one, but two Orange Crushes. Two Orange Crushes and I am drunk! Drunk! LOL

Pete and I decided that we were sleepy so we turned on comedy central and we both fell asleep!

Saturday

Pete and I woke up around 7am. I hate to sleep vacations away! (get ready for getting up early Shannon!!!) I took these pictures in our Back Yard.

Bay

We were showered and dressed and out the door by 7:30am. We headed to my favorite Bagel Joint for Breakfast.  They have the best Bagels.  I like the Everything ones the best.

Bagels and Buns

When we were done breakfast we headed over to Assateague Island. We started seeing horses even before we pulled into the park. We went to the Ranger Station and we bought our 2008 Season Pass. We love going to Assateague Island. We go to the beach here in the summer since it is so much less crowded. Here are a few horse pictures.

Ponies at AssateaguePonies at Assateague

Besides the horses there are alot of pretty sites on the Island. I love these two pictures.

We hit up the Bath and Body Works Outlet when we left Assateaque. We ended up buying 2 Conditioners, 1 Shampoo, 6 plug in refills, 1 plug in for Pete’s office, 3 lip glosses and 5 foam soaps! After that I had to pee and I can never go in a public place so we headed back to the Condo. We took a little nap (wink wink) then after resting a while we starting talking and all, making lots of plans for the wedding and all, then we desided we were hungry and it was lunch time so we went to Seacrets. It is a fun tropical bar and grill and club. It changes depending on the time of day. Pete had a few beers and I had some Rum Runners. Yum Yum!

After lunch we went to the boardwalk. What fun! We played in the arcade and looked in some shops. We had a good time. We won 180 tickets in the arcade, but we gave them to Laura. She has thousands of tickets.

Arcade

We headed back to the condo to watch the sunset. It was so pretty. We sat out back and talked and took pictures and enjoyed being just Pete and I! It was a romantic evening.

Lisa & PeteMy One True Love

Sunset

After the sun set totally we went back into the condo to warm up! I read my book and Pete napped, that was until we heard the neighbors doing it. We had to turn off the TV and then giggle like 12 year old girls.

Now it was about 7pm so we were getting hungry so we got dressed and went to Greenwood Farms. Greenwood is owned by an older couple and they are just so sweet! When you go in everyone gets the same appitizers. Cottage Cheese, Apple Butter, Veggies, Juice (apple or tomato), and Peaches.

Appitizers

I forgot to take pictures of our food. Pete had the Eastern Shore Platter; A Crab Cake, Fried Chicken and Ham. I had the Seafood platter. All the meals come with the same family style sides. Cole Slaw, Stewed Tomatoes, Green Beans, French Fries and Rolls and Pumpkin Muffins. So good.

After dinner we were going to go to the Red Snapper to shoot pool, but we were both too tired so we just went home. I read my book and Pete watched TV until we both fell alseep! It was a great Saturday!

Sunday

Sunday we were up by 7:30am. We had Bagels in the condo, watched a movie and just hung out. We cleaned up the condo and packed up the car. We left the condo around 12:15pm to head to Rehoboth Beach. We hit the outlets. First we went to Casual Male and Pete got 5 shirts and 3 pair of pants! We had two coupons. Spend $75 get $25 off! Score! After we left there we went to the Disney Outlet. I spent $45 in there and I got…..3 tee shirts, one pack of panties, one Jersey type shirt, one jacket, one pair of pajamas and 2 light up toys! What a deal. We are making goodie bags for all the kids going on the cruise. Kinda like Kiddie Wedding Favors! I can’t wait to go back to the Disney Outlet when Shannon and I head to Ocean City in March!

When we were done our shopping we headed home by way of Sonic! YUM! How sad is it that the closest Sonic to me is over an hour away! Like 75 miles! I got a Cherry Limeade and Pete got some kinda slushie. Our food was good too!

Cherry Limeade

We got home and crashed….I love going away, but I love coming home too!

All of the pictures are here on Flickr of course!

Ocean City Must!

This weekend Pete and I went to Ocean City, Maryland.  We had a wonderful weekend vacation!  It was so relaxing.  My Family owns a condo at the beach.  It is in a great location and is just perfect to get away for the weekend.  I have been going to Ocean City since I was born.  My first trip to the beach I was only 2 months old.  Since I go so often I have places that are “My Places”.  These are places I usually go to every time I visit.  Sometimes I don’t hit them all, but always atleast some of them.  Harborside Bar & Grill, home of the famous Orange Crushes.  We discovered this place by accident at least 10 years ago, if not more.  We were trying to eat next door at Caption Galley’s, but the wait was crazy long.  My Mom suggested we go next door and we had a great meal and have been returning ever since.  We have all shared out great secret find with lots of our friends.  Over the past few years the restaurant has grown in popularity and now there is always a wait there.  I also try to visit Assateague Island.  This island is a national park full of wild horses.  Pete and I are Season Pass holders we go so much.  I do my best to go eat at Greenwood Farms.  This is a homestyle restuarnt outside of Ocean City in Bishopville.  It is owned by Bill and Donna Greenwood.  I am a “Regular” at a place three hours from my home.  Bill always asks me how Baltimore is and gives me updates on Paula.  Paula is the reason we started going there, my Mom used to have to speak to Paula dailey on the phone for work and Paula used to be a part time waitress at Greenwood Farms.  Seacrets is a fun Bar to visit.  During the day we sometimes go to get some frozen drinks and float around in the Bay.  It is also a great place for dinner and dancing.  It is such a fun place.  Here is little reviewof alot of the restaurants in Ocean City.  We ALWAYS visit the Boardwalk, but that is kind of a given!  Pete and I make it a point to get a Photobooth picture at the arcade each and everytime we visit the beach.  It is a must to.  Sometimes we play in the arcade, sometimes not.  One desert I need each time is a Kohr Bros. Orange Sherbet!  OMG soo good!  When we are in Ocean City Pete never lets us leave with out a trip to the Bath and Body Works Outlet.  Tropical Passionfruit is his scent of choice.  When I leave Ocean City I usually travel home by way of Rehoboth Beach.  Growing up we had a summer home here and would stay all summer (with Dad visiting on weekends), it holds a place near and dear to my heart!  It has changed considerably in the past 18 years since my parents sold our summer home, but it is still loved.  Now in Rehoboth there are tons of outlets so we can’t go home with out a stop in the Disney Outlet.  I do not leave Rehoboth without eating at Louies Pizza.  I have been eating here for 29 years and it never changes!  In the past few years we have started stopping at Sonic on the way home for a Cherry Limeade.  It is sad that our closest Sonic is in Delaware!  It is about and hour from Rehoboth Beach.  I think about a ice cold Cherry Limeade all the way from the beach to sonic.  Soo good!

Be Mine

Last night Pete and I went to visit Princess when we got off of work. We had to take her a Valentine!  We watched her for 1.5 hours while Laura and Brandon had some alone time.  They took a nice long bath in their big huge tub!  It worked out good cause Pete and I got to hold the baby!  I love this little one so much.  She was 2 weeks old yesterday.  Two whole weeks.  It seems like so much longer.  I can not imagine life without her.  She is starting to stay awake for longer periods of time now.  She is also sleeping longer, which is good for Laura!  I can not wait until Laura goes back to work so I can watch her and have her all to myself!  I am going away this weekend and I am going to miss her so much.  I don’t know how parents can leave their Babies for long periods of time.  I miss Alyssa so much when I miss one day with out seeing her!  My favorite things to do is just sit and hold her and give her little kisses!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine’s Day

My 1st Valentine's Day

Alyssa and I both wish you all a Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

Wedding Update!

I am sooo excited.  Things in the wedding world are moving full speed ahead!  Yesterday I booked Crystal and Dakoda’s room on the cruise.  They are acrossed the hall from me, next to Nikki!  I am so happy all my girls are just a few doors away from me, it will make getting ready so easy!  I also booked Nikki’s family’s airfare.  I booked my airfare too!  Great price $89 each way!  Crystal is booking everything else once she gets her tax refund.  Shannon and Laura already have thier cruise booked and are both near me on the ship too!  I have also booked the hotel rooms for me, my Dad, Pete’s Parents & sister, Laura, Nikki and Crystal (and thier respective families of corse) for the night before the cruise.  It is great!  I am so lucky to have such good friends who support me!  I am also going to have the prettiest bridesmaids!  Sometimes I wonder how I got blessed with three of the best friends any girl could want and a great sister on top of that!

Next weekend we are doing a trail run of Hair and Make Up!  I am thinking about splurging and buying some Good Good make up, not that my covergirl isn’t good…LOL  But since I am not having my hair or makeup done for the wedding or Photo Shoot then I may visit Sephora and see what kinda damage I can do there!

I have bought a veil, I am not going to use it though.  I will use it for the trial run hair dos, but my future Mother in Law is going to make my veil!  She is overjoyed to do it.  She actually cried when I asked her.  How wweet is that!  I really lucked out in the inlaw department.  I cringe to think of what I could have ended up with!  Pete’s mom loves me to pieces and so does his Dad.  They even want to move back to the west coast to be closer to us.  I know they are praying for some grandbabies soon!  Ha…They better pray really hard, cause they still got a ways to wait!  LOL  I think I am going to pick out all the supplies for the veil and send them to Mama Reese (that is what I call her when I am talking about her to Pete – Mama Reese and P-Daddy are his parents….LOL)  Anyway I will buy everything, cause I want crystals and shimmery fabric and creative control…LOL and send it to her.  She has a great sewing machine and is so talented!  I can not wait.  The veil is going to mean so much to me knowing she made it!  And that she made it with love!  I hope one day my kids will use it and know their grandmother made it for me!

Ring? Where is my Ring?

On Saturday Pete and I went to brunch at Mimi’s Cafe and then we took the long drive to Washington DC to take my Engagement Ring to the Jeweler.  I was very sad about this, but I did not want any of my stones to fall out.  Once we got there they told me they would need to ship the ring to their headquarters in CALIFORNIA!  This was horrible news.  The lady seen the sadness in my face and suggested they see what their on-site jeweler could do.  She came back over to me and told me that he could fix it and it would be done by 4:15pm that day!  ahhh….That made me feel so much better.  As she was writing up the slip she told me he would need to change the triangles to circles.  NOOO!!!!!  That will ruin the design. Ring RepairSo she tore up the slip and told me they would need to send it to California.  I teared up a bit but told her ok.  Then she told me it would be 6-8 week!  I said NO WAY!  Then the manager came over and told me it would only be 2-3 weeks.  I asked for a loner (I was just joking) and Pete walked away.  I embarrass him so much some times.  So my ring is GONE!  I asked the lady all about what will happen if it gets lost (it is one of a kind) and she told me Corporate would be forced to redesign it exactly.  Thank god!

In better wedding planning news……I got the Crystal Designs to make my shirts for the girls in the wedding party!
Crystals for Shirts

They are going to look so good.  I ordered all the shirts and they should be in this week!

I also contacted the florist about my 2nd wedding bouquet.  I am going to need two.  One for the wedding on the ship and one for the pictures off of the ship.  You can’t take plant life off of the ship.  I got a pretty good quote of $250 which will include my Bouquet and Pete’s boutonniere  Here is the description that the florist and I worked out.

”Bridal Bouquet with white roses, white stephanotis, a few hot pink roses – extra large – say 40 roses?  We would stem wrap with pearl inserts (Mickey style).  The boutonniere would be a Hot Pink Rose and stephanotis.

It will look a bit like this colorwise:

With the Stephanotis like this:

I am doing the Bloggy Photo days!

Here is the link to my first day!

I had a great day today.  I got up; went to work; had dinner with my sweetie; spent a few hours snuggling up on my niece; came home loaded my pictures and added captions!  That is the whole day in a nut shell.  Check out the link for all the pictures. But here is a preview~

Perfect Princess

1st Doctor's Visit
My First Doctor’s Visit

Alyssa had her first Doctor’s appointment today. She is 8 days old. She is also perfect, the doctor told Laura and Brandon that! Here are some Sats…

Head Circumference – 33cm at birth — 35cm today (57th percentile)
Weight – 8 pounds 6.7 ounces at birth — 8 pounds 3 ounces when she left the hospital — 8 pounds 7 ounces today (50th percentile)
Length – 20.5 inches at birth — 21 inches today (90th percentile)

She did really good and only cried when she had her blood drawn for the PKU test and when they gave her the Hepatitis B shot.

Laura is doing so good breast feeding. The doctor did tell her she would need to give her 1/2 a drop of Vitamin B a day (how do you give 1/2 a drop???)

One of her eyelids, her right one sometimes looks like it’s a lazy eye. The doctor told us that her eyelid is just so thin that she doesn’t want to open it. He turned off the lights and she opened right up!

Update

Thank you everyone for your prayers.  After going to the hospital and getting checked out Jason is doing fine.  He is beat up and his shoulder is sore, but he is FINE!  The car on the other hand is not so fine.  It is totaled!  But things can be replaced!

Jason was sitting still in traffic and looked in his rear view mirror and seen a State of Maryland truck speeding at him.  He turned his wheel to the left to try to avoid hitting the car in front of him.  The Trust slammed into the back of him sending him up in the air.  His Expedition landed kinda nose down.  So the back of the truck is crushed and so is the front.  It had to have been so scary!  I am sl glad he is ok!

Prayers

Nikki’s husband was just in a horrible car accident and is on his way to the hospital.  Their truck is completely totaled.  Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers!

Registry

Pete and I are going to register at JC Penny, Bed Bath & Beyond, and maybe one other major department store.  We also get registered at Walt Disney World since that is where we are honeymooning.  I think it is weird asking for people to apply money towards your Honeymoon, kinda like asking them to pay your phone or cable bills.  But with Disney you register for things at the park, dinners, Christmas Decorations etc.  I still feel weird and will probally not send it out with our invitations, but I think Pete and I are going to use it to pre pay for some things we want to see and do.  Here is the web site if you want to check it out.  www.mydisneyhoneymoon.com/peteandlisa You also need to put in the month and year of the wedding!  I LOVE the gift card they sent.  This is the card we will use to redeem our items.  Each time we use it they will know we are honeymooning!

Birth Story

Since Princess has been born I have been working on her Birth Story.  I wanted to document it all so one day she can look back on it and see all it took to get her into this world.  I have posted it below and plan on printing it out for her Baby Book!

So Tired!

Life with Sweet Princess Alyssa is wonderful!  I am tired though!  I know Laura is more tired them I am.  Not Alyssa, she is sleeping all day long.  She is up all night though.  I know I haven’t updated, but I was at Laura’s all weekend, they came home on Saturday!  I had to force myself to come home tonight because Pete and I have NO CLEAN CLOTHES!  I am washing everything tonight.  I just want to be sitting on Laura’s sofa holding the baby!  My house is falling apart…LOL  I don’t even care!  Laura is feeling great!  I am going to write up a birth story later tonight I think!  Here are some of my favorite pictures of Princess.  Of course they are all on Flickr.  Check um out if you want!
