I didn’t get a chance over the weekend to write about the wonderful box of goodies that I got from Christina! I was in the Winter Swap hosted by Rachel. Christina sent me the best box of stuff! I got a Super Great Candle. It is one of the best I have ever seen! I got a nice sled picture frame that now sits on my desk at work, a can of the best Hot Chocolate that Greg and I have ever had. It went wonderful Sunday morning with Breakfast, I got some conversation hearts and I have eaten all the orange ones, and last but not least a beautiful hand painted sled with Roses on top. I loved everything! Thank you 100 times Christina!

Work sucked today. I don’t know if I will ever get everything done! I went to get my nails done after and they are a greta shade of dark wine. I just got done watching Mr. Bush and I hope that this tax cut hits home soon! I am off to bed now! Sweat Dreams all!

This is what I am making to take to my Pop-Pop’s football party tomorrow evening. What do ya’ll think?

Onion Dip from Scratch

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 1/2 cups diced onions

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1 1/2 cups sour cream

3/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

In a saute pan over medium heat add oil, heat and add onions and salt. Cook the onions until they are caramelized, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Mix the rest of the ingredients, and then add the cooled onions. Refrigerate and stir again before serving.
