Girls in the Attic
When I was about 8 and my sister 5 my parents bought the house I live in now. My sister couldn’t say the word Squirel and she said girl instead. Well the attic had squirels in it and my sister would tell people there were girls in the attic. Which would make my dad clap his hands everytime and pretend to be excited. Well since I have moved back in so have a family of squirels. My dad bought a trap and we catch them and my dad “Relocates them” to a nearby neighborhood. This is so they won’t come back in the attic. Well Suday night I was laying in bed and heard the cage going nuts. It is right above my bedroom. I am scared of them so yesterday my friend Tony came over and I got him to get the “girls” out of the attic. We took the cage downstairs and messed with the squirel awhile. Tony wanted to wait until our friend Mitch came so he could see it. Then finally even though Tony was scared like a baby he let it go. My dad got mad we let it go in our yard instead of in another neighborhood. I told my dad atleast it isn’t up in the attic dying! I had a good night. I made Cheeseburger Pie, got the critters out of my attic and visited with good friends!
This weekend I took a quick trip to Ocean City. I love the beach. I wish it would have been sunny out. I didn’t get to go onto the sand and read my book. I wish I could have stayed longer. I love spending time with my Dad and sister. They are both nuts. The weekend went by way too fast! Now I am back at work working hard!
You know a person can only be lied to and disappointed so many times before they snap! This weekend I snapped. I just hope my eye’s go back from being red and swollen to normal Blue/Green soon. I hate crying. It is always written all over my face.
Michelle Rust went to highschool with me, then she was Michelle Lins. She was a year older then I was, but we had an english class together. She was quiet and very nice. We talked in class, but weren’t outside friends. When I went to college she was in one of my classes, and again we were friendly. Two years ago she went missing. Our community did so many searches and they never found her, or godforbid her body. It was her son’s birthday and she left to go to the store, never to be seen again. It is so sad. I wish she would just come wallking into her house one day like nothing happened and told everyone she was brainwashed and kidnapped and is now back. There are still posters all over the place looking for her. You can read the story here. A good web site here too. I hope she is found one way or another so her family can be at peace! You read the stories on Laci Peterson and that new girl the missing jogger and wonder why didn’t Michelle’s case make the national news??? Or more local coverage? Why isn’t there a E true hollywood story on Michelle Rust? Maybe an episode of Unsolved Mysteries? Oh well, hopefully the answers will be known sooner or later!
THIS JUST IN…………
My sister is the newest member of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. She got her call today and she is hired! She starts fire accademy on September 9th! She was so happy. I cried when she told me. My mom would be SO proud of her. Even more proud then I am. They started the process with over 1100 people taking the test. Out of those people the interviewed 700 out of the 700 they interviewed the gave 140 a 2nd interview and out of those 140 people the hired just 40 and my little sister is one of them! WAY TO GO!
Last night my sister had a party. Her room that my dad built on is finally complete and since my Dad was away in Fabulous Las Vegas, she decided to have a party. I went over right after work and helped her set up and all. We lit Tiki Torches and set out chairs. She iced the beer and put out snacks. She was all prepared. I ran home to shower real quick and was back at her house in no time flat. There was a surprisingly good turn out for a random Wednesday night. Around 20-25 people I would say. Lots of guys drinking and jumping on the Trampoline. LOL My friend Tony came and kept me company since I only know about half of the guests there, it was nice to have one of my own with me. I had a great time. Lots of fun. Hopefully she will do it again soon, on a weekend next time so I won’t have such a hard time waking up and going to work after a night of drinking!
I heard from my Dad this morning, he is on his way home. He lost big time in Sin City! He wouldn’t give me any specific amounts but I know he lost more then $1,500.00! I just can’t even imagine!
