Weekend Update

I had a good weekend, How about all of you?

On Saturday Pete, My Dad and I went to the grave yard to put out my Mom and Grandmom’s Christmas flowers.  They look so good!  After that Pete and I started our search for the perfect Christmas Tree.  Over 5 hours later we came home with one tied to the roof of our car!  We were beat but then headed to the store for some new lights.  I wanted some of the old fashioned big bulbs.  We got two packs of them at Target.  We snuggled up and watched TV the rest of the night.  We were beat from Christmas Tree shopping.

Sunday we got up bright and early and got the tree up.  While we let it settle a bit I made breakfast and Pete burned all of our cardboard in the fire pit out back.  After breakfast and naps (lazy Sundays are the best) I put all the lights on the tree.  Laura and Brandon came over for dinner and some football.  It was nice visiting with them.  After Dinner Laura took me to drop off my car at the dealer for the breaks to be fixed.  I am so mad that it is acting up!

Merry Christmas

After Laura and Brandon went home Pete and I finished our decorating.   I think the tree looks great!  It is a mix of both of our childhoods!  His Starwars ornaments are hanging next to my Strawberry Shortcake ones!  So cute!

All Lit Up!
